Frequently Asked Questions

How to set up a Marketplace store?

After you create your shop on Shopify, you need to log in as admin from backend. From the “Apps” menu, you can search for the Webkul’s Multi-Vendor Marketplace App. As soon as you find the app, you need to select from the plans listed over there and pay for it, then proceed to install the app. Once installed, you will get the app listed in Shopify “Apps” section. Clicking on it, you can proceed to configure the app. To see how to configure, please follow the video Guide.

Now, you will have a “Join as Seller” link on your website. From here, any user can join and become the marketplace seller. The seller needs to register, create a shop and then they can add their products from the account created. Seller will get a public URL of the shop created, which can be used to showcase the products by the seller.

This way you can convert your online store into a marketplace with numerous sellers registered on it and also provide a variety of choices to the buyers.

Can I translate the language of the multi-vendor app?

Yes, If you want to translate multivendor the app into a single language then, you can translate the labels of the app from the "Translation" section as per your requirement. Please follow the below steps:-

Admin end of Multivendor app ->> Translation ->> Here rename the labels as per your requirement.
Please Note:- Translations appear only at seller end.

If you want the multi-vendor app to be multilingual then this can be done with the help of Weglot Translation Feature.
Note: The labels can be in multiple languages and the seller can select from the languages but the seller can write in one language only.

Can I upgrade/downgrade the plan available for the app?

Yes, you can easily download or upgrade the plan from the backend, under "upgrade/downgrade" menu.

To downgrade the plan, you need to deactivate the seller (if you have several active sellers that are allowed in the plan) before downgrading the plan.

What will happen with the seller data, in case I remove the app from my store?

Once you remove/uninstall/delete the app from your Shopify store, all the data (related to sellers) will be deleted from our end within 2 days.
